The Barclay Hotel - Toma Group

Situated in the very cosmopolitan East Sydney suburb of Potts Point, the ‘Barclay Hotel’ really is your typical example of a building being given new life. Under the delegation of our client, IPS were given the task of Project Managing the design & construction of “Suite 17”, a cocktail lounge bar located on the ground floor of this unique building. Stage 2 included the refurbishment of the hotel rooms to resemble picturesque romantic accommodation without the hefty price tag, all complete so delicately so as not to disturb hotel occupants who were occupying the hotel as it underwent the works.

Stage 3 which is currently ongoing includes the addition of several levels to the building by formulating construction solutions that are not only affordable, but workable around the design parameters set by the nature of the existing building.
